Thanks for stopping by, I’m Carmel, the creator / chief candle maker / owner of Aroma Pot Candles. Welcome to my wonderful world of stunning, scented objects!

If you haven’t already discovered; Aroma Pot Candles was born out of a maternity leave hobby in 2013 where I began selling my hand poured pieces at markets throughout South Australia. Fast forward 6 years and the birth of our two children, Aroma Pot Candles has now become my full-time role. Which gives me the ability to juggle family life and the business from our home where I lovingly hand pour our products in our candle studio located on the edge of the Barossa Valley.

I'm a self-confessed lover of all things colourful

and have a passion for beautiful homewares and art. I'm an earring, coffee cup and indoor plant addict! Which you'll notice in our stories as I love to show the behind the scenes of our day-to-day adventures!
I understand the challenges of running a business alongside raising a young family and am passionate about supporting and uplifting other Australian mums in business. I love to work with other small businesses that align with my values by supporting their personal brands via collaboration or promoting them on my platforms.

This has resulted is some truly beautiful and collaborative collections that celebrate women following their passions. And more recently my biggest and most loved collaboration with Australian artist Jess Hutchison to create our beautiful artist collection candles.
